Actress Rashida Jones has praised her good friend and Our Idiot Brother co star Paul Rudd saying that he was willing to do and wear anything for the film. Rashida and Paul have known each other for 14 years and Jones admits that Rudd has the ability to make the unlikable, likeable.
Rashinda explained, “His tank-tops-and-shorts combos were so disgusting. But Paul had no shame. The more Crocs, the better. This is a perfect example of why he’s so appealing — there’s something so open about him in this film, so game and willing and relatable.”
Jones then added, “This character could be super-annoying, but when it’s coming from Paul, there’s an authenticity about it.”
Fight for Your Right Revisited The video is a sequel to music video for the Beastie Boys’ 1987 single “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)”. Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and Elijah Wood portray Mike D, MCA, and Ad-Rock respectively as they continue the party throughout town. The music video feature many notable film and television actors in cameo roles: Rashida Jones, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson,Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Aubrey Plaza, Chloë Sevigny, Maya Rudolph, Kirsten Dunst, David Cross, Orlando Bloom, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Jack Black. A 30-minute long version written and directed by MCA and entitled Fight for Your Right Revisited was released the following day to commemorate the 25th anniversary of “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)”. The first half is an extended version of the music video, followed by a dance battle between the Beastie Boys and their future selves. The longer version includes the actual Beastie Boys and other well known actors such as Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Amy Poehler, Mary Steenburgen, Alicia Silverstone, Laura Dern, Milo Ventimiglia, and Martin Starr. Additional performers include Adam Scott, Roman Coppola, Shannyn Sossamon, Jody Hill, Mike Mills,Arabella Field, Alfredo Ortiz, and Silvia Šuvadová.
